Shawn's 29th Birthday !!

It's been a Uber Long time since I have updated my Blog. Nigel's been more than a handful these days so I have no TIME !! Finally I manage to end off work early today despite the IPhone4 craze. Thanks to National Day!! Everyone is at home !!!

First thing on the list is Shawn's 29th Birthday on the 4.7 !! We had a nice family lunch at Seafood resturant at East Coast with my family. Tong and Nigel love the place ! We were luckily enough to get a table right next to a big glass wall facing the Pond. So the Kids have a fun time looking at fishes and entertaining themselves. Followed by a quiet dinner at home with Shawn's parents. Manage to get a few shoots of Family pictures with Nigel finally !!

"I'm So Handsome !"

In the morning, We bought Nigel for his 6th month check up. Had his last Hep B jab and his Flu jab too. Nigel is finally 7kg !! And Nigel has a big head, Dr Teoh commented. Dr Teoh also advised us to continue with Stage 1's Goats' milk till Nigel is 1 yrs old as he doesn't need the extra protein since he will be on solids. And of cos, Dr Teoh gave us more samples of the cereals !! Hehe.. Spent: $105

We celebrated Nigel's Ye Ye aka Shawn's dad, 70th Birthday on the 4th of Nov. I gotten him an album with Nigel's photos in it. We went to the a nice teochew restaurant opp the Bedok's blk 85 market. I went there twice before to celebrate my granddad's birthday. Great food ! But Nigel was too cranky as usual so didn't really eat much. But he manage to calm down at the cake cutting. But suddenly started to cry again cos the music was too loud. But still, was a fruitful trip. Finally manage to get a family photo taken !!

I celebrated my 29th Birthday on 31/10/2009. Old Liaoz.. Can't imagine next year I'll be in my early 30s !! OMG !!

I had a quiet buffet lunch with Shawn on the 30/10/2009 at Big Splash. On the 31st Oct 09, had a nice tea at Kim Gray's at vivo with Nigel happily sleeping. Followed by a nice birthday celebration with my family at my Parent's. And on the 1st of Nov, my dad treat me to a nice dinner at Serangoon. All in all, I had a great 3 days of celebration !! Best Birthday ever !!

Presents wise, a cute pink t-shirt from Nicole from Dorothy Perkins, A nice Precious moments frame from Pam, from meiying a cute monkey with blue roses !! Thanks everyone !!

Got a free desktop Studio Voucher from HuaXia as their Anniversary Gift for their members. Decided to go on the 28/08/09. Juz before I go back to work.. Shawn and I decided that we want the photos to be plain. So minimum make up and hairdo. Shawn and Nigel were wearing matching t-shirts that I have gotten as a birthday gift for Shawn.

Nigel is as usual a grumpy old man. Unfamiliar people and surroundings. So most pictures were of him frowning. But he's really cute even when he was frowning ! Luckily my Mum and Pam came along to entertain or It will be a disaster.

15 Sep 09, Tues. Hazy

Finally, I'm on OFF and Shawn is too ! But Shawn as usual need to go for some irritating, time wasting meeting till 2.30pm. So I brought Nigel along with Iswati for another swimming and massage session. Nigel Swam for 1 hour !!

We went to East Coast Big Splash. Nigel was really cranky. He kept crying till We got to the seaside. He love looking at the waves and got really excited. But on the way home, he kept crying in the car !! He really hates car rides. I wonder why .. Sighsz...

Nigel Is 4 Mths Old on 08/09/09.. He had a long swimming session. Almost an hour !! His Nai Nai and Ye Ye came over to see him..

Time really Fly. He can flip from his tummy back to his back. He's in no hurry to learn to flip from his back to his tummy as he hates laying on his tummy. I wonder will he ever learn to crawl then .. Hmmzz .. He has grow and learn a lot since. It's been a great to be around him while he learn and grow. But now I'm back at work, Life is sadz. Time with him now is so precious. I wonder how much of his "First" I will miss.. Woes of a working mother in the Retail line. I Need a change of Job.. Any reccomendations ??

Taken on 11.09.09. A nice relaxing Family Day at East Coast White Town Old Coffee. Since most baby chairs provided outside are for older babies, I decided to bring his Bumbo along. A lot easier to manage him. He's happily sitting down while Shawn and I can enjoy ourselves too. Dun have to take turns to carry him.

4th Month Doctor Visit.. First Visit to Ye Ye's House

05/09/09, Sat, Humid

Shawn and I happen to on Off together so we decided to bring forward Nigel's 4th month Doctor visit to today instead of on the 11th. Brought Nigel to swimming early and of cos had a massage too. Came back home to let him take a nap but instead he was wide awake. Since my car is "off peak", we could only leave the house after 3pm. Thought it's not really legal to drive him in a 2 seater, we decide to just do it instead of taking cab. It's really hard to get a cab during weekends.

As usual, Shawn's mum was there at the clinic too. Nigel is 6.06kg and 66cm !! Wow ! He's really tall. He had his Oral Vaccination for Rotavirus. Poor Boy had to go thru 2 jabs, his 5 in 1 and Pneumococcal. He wasn't in pain.. he was looking at the Dr Teoh even thought we were trying to distract him. He was ok with the first jab then suddenly decided to scream. After a while, he was ok. Dr Teoh mention that once I stop breast feeding, he will recommend that I get some jabs too !! Alamak, I hate injections. I will have to bring my blood test reports which I did during my pregnancy. He said I might need to get the measles vaccination again as the previous one which I did when I was in Primary school will last only 20 yrs... So I'm overdue for one. Also he recommend I get one for cervical cancer. SobS.. Me hate needles. Anyway, He gave the green light to start feeding Nigel cereals and gave us a lot of samples. We are to replace one meal with cereals and to feed him papaya too.

We drop by Shawn's parents' place. To my surprise, Nigel didn't cry even though he was in a strange place. He was happily playing with his Ye Ye !! The last time Nigel saw him was more than a month ago ! And Nigel Hates strange places plus strangers. My mum says they have affinity. I even manage to capture a great photo. I really should bring Nigel over more often. But everytime I will to do it, something happens.

Sighz, Back to work again tomolo.. Miss Nigel.. Sighs.. Hate it !!

LiL Nigel Boy Boy is 3 months old yesterday. My Mum, Dad, Pam, Terence and of cos Me and Shawn went with Nigel to Airport T3 for a nice dinner at Xin Wang Cafe. We brought along his Bumbo chair so he can sit by himself and we all can eat instead of taking turns to carry him.

Nigel also went for his vaccination earlier on at Dr Teoh. He's a brave Lil Boy. Scream only during the Injection. Stop right after the injection was done. In fact, His mood seems better after the injection. He was smiling and toking to Shawn's Mama aka grandmama. He's 5.45kg and 61cm now. A bit light still but full of tough muscles, thanks to all the swimming he's been doing.

Another 20 more days with him and I have to go back to work. SighS..........

04/07/09 is Lil Nigel's Daddy's 28th Birthday !! Lil Nigel is celebrating Daddy's birthday for the very first time !! Lil Nigel's Mummy gotten a nice cookies and cream chesse cake from Baker Inn for Daddy. Daddy loves Chesse cake but Mummy doesn't like !!
