39 WeeKs AlreaDy !! One Problem after Another..

Nigel is 39 weeks and 2 days already !! And he's still in my Tum Tum ! Why he doesn't wan to come out?? SobS. Still having contractions daily. Yesterday was pretty bad, 4 hrs straight, I thought maybe this is it. But slow down after 4 hrs. SighS. I really wan to PengZ.

Yesterday, went for my 39 weeks appt. Did a CTG, Nigel as usual, kicking like mad. He hates being monitored. I also request for an ultrasound to be done. Nigel is 3kg, his head is 34.3cm ! Alamak. How many stitches do I need? SoBs. His head is also pretty low now, so can really see his face. But can see his mouth moving. So Cute. He also had hiccups halfway thru the scan. Prof Mary also did an internal check, I'm 1.5cm dilated. She also stretch my cervix. It's one of the way to induce labour. It suppose to stimulate contractions within a few days. She did it last week also but nothing happen. SighS. Prof Mary still hope that I can deliver naturally. But if I dun deliver by May 12, I will definitely ask to be induce.

It's really troublesome to go hospital now due to the Swine Flu Scare. Have to take temperature, and wear face mask. Plus only one person is allowed to accompany me. Singapore has a few suspected cases. Hope it's all negative. Seems to be a bad year. Ecomony Downturn, plus this swine flu scare. Also my confinement Nanny is down with flu. Hope she recover in time also. This Nigel Boy really troublesome. I'm also down with flu. If he had came out at 37 weeks or last week, everything will be much easier !! Now his full moon celebration also got a big problem. It will clash with June holidays, will be hard to book chalet now. SighS.. One Problem after Another.. Don't Think I will be Able to celebrate Mother's day this year. SobS...

Nigel's 32 weeks landmark !!

18th March, SuNnY DaY

Today is Nigel's 32 weeks appointment or rather mine. He's 32 weeks and 1 days old today. Long wait as usual at the clinic. It's been a long long 11 weeks since I had any ultrasound done. I was pretty panicky for the past 11 weeks as I'm not sure whether my Little Boy is doing well. Shawn and I was pretty anxious. His not so little head is 8cm by 10cm ! I was wondering how am I going to deliver him !! At most my cervix will open to 10 cm !! Oh my... Maybe I should consider C-Section.. His weight is at 1.9++Kg. Wow ! Average weight is actually 1.7kg. I'm glad to know at he's doing well. All the durians I have eaten is not for nothing!!

Next appointment will be at 30/03. After that Prof Mary will be on one week holiday. I hope nothing happens within this one week !!

Baby @ 15 weeks

19 Oct Wed Rainy

Went to the Doctor's appt today. Mary Rauff is back. Good news is my placenta is not as low as before but still low. Bb is looking good. Can see the bones on the ultrasound. So cute. I can see the fingers and spine. So Cute ! Can't see whether girl or boy yet, Bb felt asleep and legs was crossed. Sighz, have to wait till next appt on the 17/12. Will also be doing my detail scan. I was having some cramps on the left side where i had the sharp pain previously. A bit worried. Was pretty painful.

I got a Doppler also. Pretty hard to get baby's heartbeat cos BB is still small plus he's moving around. It's really interesting to hear the Baby's heartbeat. At least I can hear Bb anytime I want now.

11 Nov 08 Tues Rainy Day

Since I started work I have been having some sharp pains at the bottom of the tummy and near the left side of near the Belly Button. Also brown discharge been inceasing and with dried blood. Sobs. Bb also moving less. Very worried. Unfortunatly A/P Mary Rauff is on leave so went to Dr Hannah. She assure me Bb is okay and she exclamied when she saw Bb " Your baby is so big". Bb is pretty fat. Bb was sleeping at first and woke up after all the poking. Then started to bounce up and down. We can see Bb little eyes, they look small. Poor Bb look so cramp up also. Poor Bb. Sobs. I also had my 7th injection today. Painful !!

29 Oct Wed (Rain and Rain..)

Finally, Baby is 12 weeks!! BB is very active. Kicking and Boxing me. Poor BB looks very cramp up in the scan as BB keep stretching. Bb was very frustrated when Doctor was pressing the scanner on my tummy. BB keep pushing the womb and after a while look away and show me butts again. Angry little BB. Even Doctor commented that Bb is very active. I think i will have a hard time when Bb is bigger with all the kicking, boxing and stretching.

Was suppose to go back to work tomorrow but doctor advice me to rest more. So will only start work next month. Good thing also cos my birthday is on friday ! I'm a Halloween baby. I also did a blood test today. Have to draw out 3 Vials of blood!! I almost died! Luckily i don't have to take anymore injections. I'm also suppose to do the down syndrome test. But i decided not to as i feel tat even if Bb is high risk for Down Syn i would not abort so might as well not know and enjoy my pregnancy. I got enough to worry abt already. And today's bill is $405!! Wow !!

Poor Jooling. Eric parents decided not to look after her baby cos Eric sis insist on his mum looking after her son! Sighz. It's good and bad. Good cos Joo don't have to worry about his sis moving in. Bad cos poor little Stephanie have to go to nursery at a tender young age. Luckily my mum is looking after my little BB. She the one that insist I have a baby soon cos she wan a grandchild. So she happily voluntered to look after. I'm not comfortable with anyone else looking after my baby. My mum is sort of a professional babysister. She's been looking after babies for a long time. She has brought up more than 8 babies including myself and my silbings. She's currently looking after my neighbour 2 cute kids.

Baby @ 11 weeks 20th Oct. Size: 4.26cm

Walk in for appointment today cos of bleeding again. Sighz. Found out that my baby is too low. Too close to my Cervice. That's why i have bleeding problems. Sobz. If the baby doesn't move up i might have bleeding on and off. And also will have to have C-section and baby will be premature. Sobz. Doctor also said i might get heavy bleeding during my 3th tri and have to have emergency C-section. Now i'm on 9 days mc. Going for detail scan on 29th.

On the bright side, My baby is very active. Baby was boxing and kicking and bouncing around. Baby's so cute. Doctor was scolding Bb, says Bb always kicking that's why mummy bleeding. Bb became angry and kick even more. So Naughty. Definitly will be a notti little Bb when Bb's born.

Actually felt my baby move yesterday, was moving alone. I was pretty scared. Though Bb might have seizure. Luckily after the scan today, i reliase Bb's just too active.
