Nigel went to Kyan Kor Kor's Grandma's house for a gathering with Stephy Jie Jie on 22 Aug 09. Nigel was very cranky. He's teething plus he doesn't strange places and people and maybe cos it's the 7th month.. Poor Mummy had a hard time cos he kept crying. In the end, Auntie Pam had to come to pick Nigel and Mummy up halfway thru..

Nigel is 3 and a half mths old. He's learning to sit up. He love his Bumbo chair. But he hates laying on his tummy so he's not learning to flip. He's learning to grab things too. He love to suck on his fist. He love watching Animal Planet. He love to tok to his toys, Mr Butterfly and Mr Smiley. He's been teething since 2.5 mths old. He has 2 teeth on his left and 1 more on the right. Not the front tooth but the sides. He can already recongnise people and places. He knows Monster Ye Ye aka Auntie Nicole always bully him so he always scold her when he see her !! He like Uncle Terence cos he like "black" people. He still love to swim. He can swim for 40 mins liaoz. He love to kick the side of the tub so he will be push to the other side. He learning to kick the toys floating around the tub too ..

Nigel loves to Sit ..

My Notti Lil Nigel has been really Cranky these few days. He's sort of sticking to me. Around me, he's uber notti. Doesn't wan to lay down. Wants to be in a sitting position all the time and be near me. He's refusing to sleep in the sarong when I'm around. I had to carry him and pat him to sleep !! Or pat him to sleep in the cot.. SighS.. Problematic.. Tried leaving him to cry but he's pretty persistant. He was crying till all the tears was rolling down his lil eyes. My heart melted, wat to do.. Plus he's also irriated by his teething too.. SighS... Going back to work soonz. My last weekend with Lil Nigel Boy.. Mummy will miss you !! SobSsSSssSss

Lil Nigel Can Sit !!

On the 14th August, Friday, a milestone for Lil Nigel. I was burping Lil Nigel on my lap, I realise he can sit on his own for a while without me supporting him !! Yesterday, at my mum's, he manage to sit on his own too on the mattress about 30 seconds before tipping to one side !! Wow !! Now he can sit well on chairs with backsupport without tipping to one side for a pretty long time..

Insomnia and Worries ...

13th August, Hot and Hazy

4am !!
Having insomnia tonight, can't sleep at all, been tossing and turning in bed for 2 hours already. Despite catching only about 4 hrs of broken sleep here and there for the past few days, Sighz.. Nigel been cranky for the past few nights after the vaccination. He's been crying in his sleep.

Why Insomnia ? Maybe I'm too tired to sleep, maybe it's the hot weather (Haze AgAin) but definitely due to having too much thoughts going thru my mind. Another 15 more days with Nigel and I'm going back to work. Pretty much worried about how I'm going to fare at work as I have not been working for more than 7 months, also about expressing milk at work. Worried about my Internet Businesses. But mostly about Lil Nigel...
Worried about the amount of time I can spent with him
Worried about the amount of time Shawn and I can spent together with him as Family
Worried whether I have the time to educate him properly
Worried if Nigel will be sad that Mummy and Daddy is always not around
Worried tat Nigel will not be close to me
Sighs... and a lot more... Best thing will be to change my job and of cos my line of work actually. But now with the economic depression, it's not easy. Thinking of taking part time courses on relating to Children Education, but how to make time for it and yet spent time with Nigel ?? Best solution, Win ToTo !! Hahaha !!

LiL Nigel Boy Boy is 3 months old yesterday. My Mum, Dad, Pam, Terence and of cos Me and Shawn went with Nigel to Airport T3 for a nice dinner at Xin Wang Cafe. We brought along his Bumbo chair so he can sit by himself and we all can eat instead of taking turns to carry him.

Nigel also went for his vaccination earlier on at Dr Teoh. He's a brave Lil Boy. Scream only during the Injection. Stop right after the injection was done. In fact, His mood seems better after the injection. He was smiling and toking to Shawn's Mama aka grandmama. He's 5.45kg and 61cm now. A bit light still but full of tough muscles, thanks to all the swimming he's been doing.

Another 20 more days with him and I have to go back to work. SighS..........

This is so Digusting !!

I have been trying to reduce my milk supply since will be starting work on 29/08/09. So far, it worked. The amount I express out drop by half, the interval also increase to 6 hrs. I'm sad and happy. Happy cos it will be easier to express out at work. Sad cos soon Nigel have to be on partial Breastmilk, have to use Formula liaoz. Sighz.. Definitely will miss my Lil boy. Plus ending off work so latez, I guess there will be days where Nigel don't get to see me at all. Really feel sad thinking about it. Haiz..

Also thinking how I'm going to cope with him. Shawn do try to help but he's not good at quite a lot of stuff. He can't bathe him even though before Nigel was born, Shawn volunteered to bathe Nigel. Shawn has a big problem carrying Nigel, he can't carry Nigel upright thus he can't burp Nigel either !! Plus Shawn is a big scatterbrain, till now, he dun noe wat to pack when we bring Nigel out !! Sighz.

Taken this after Shawn and I brought Nigel to a Nice massage at Hua Xia (Punggol Plaza). The Lil Boy refuse to sit in his stroller so I had to carry him in the sarong carrier. He actually fell asleep in that position !
